This dashboard consists of several features that can be used to customize personalized a website. WordPresss services are especially useful for people who have little or no understanding of programming languages or the codes needed to create a website otherwise. Firstly, I customized the template of WordPress theme. This saves my time in looking for an appropriate theme. Then, I started developing pages for the online ticketing booking : Home, about Us, Tickets, Forum and contact us. The In-built modules can be utilized to manage the content on the pages of website, which felicitates easy organization and editing of the contents. Not only this, WordPress also provides many important features for designing and editing of the content. Once contents are put on the pages, menu modules are used to prepare the page. Its menu modules consist of sub-menu items, menu items as well the main menu items. The websites designed would consist of global as well as local navigation installed. Many changes like the website theme, home page etc. were applied to the website with the help of customization options provided long with the WordPress. Changes were also made to the footer section, header section, web page content and to the menu section. For better user experience, the right feel and look of the website was obtained with the help of following modification: Routers and their Importance One of the important equipment for any website is the routers. This is a networking device. Its main function is to transfer then forward the packets of data from one location point to the other. This is an important device for the business as the transmission of information and data is done through a networking channel. Routers select the best possible route or path between the selected destination and the source and it also makes sure that the process of transmission process is secure and safe Stickiness Stickiness can be used to calculate and understand the performance of any website. It needs to be measured to arrive at a conclusion. This basically explains the ability of the website to keep a huge no. of users engaged to the website (Kominers, 2016). Analysis must have carried for the website on its users, their profile, their preferences etc. to arrive the result. Channel Conflict In the present era, customers are shifting their preferences from the brick and mortar stores to the virtual and electronic world. This is an era of e-commerce and physical stores are suffering due to this. When physical stores business takes a hit due to the presence of any online portal or stores, it is called channel conflict. There are several methods or steps which the business proprietor can adopt to face this issue (Cunningham, 2013. There needs to be a store locator present on the website, to provide the location of the store. There should also be a catalogue for physical store present on the website to direct the users to visit the store for any particular item they are looking for. Customer-Based Marketing Strategy For a website, its challenging to develop a customer based marketing strategy there are various sorts or categories of clients or visitors who are associated with it. Its client base may belong to different age groups, literacy levels, genders and so on. Its strategy will need to be developed keeping in mind various kinds of customers and it will have to address the needs and expectations all of these types of customers which is not an easy task. (Rust, 2016). Internet There are number of benefits associated with development of website for the business. Biggest advantage is the reduction in costs in short and long term. For example, of infrastructure costs is reduced to a greater extent will due to the availability of virtual store. There is also greater scalability and flexibility in terms of inventory management and supply chain management. Absence of elaborate physical facilities also cuts down the administrative costs that are needed to manage stores and offices. (Ibm, 2016). Social Networking Strategies Now days its almost mandatory for any business to have a Social networking presence due to the ever growing popularity of these sites not only among young but older populations as well. Social media integration brings in many benefits and advantages for the company or its business. With the help of social media platforms, companies can easily and quickly reach out to their existing as well as potential customers and promote their products and services to the right kind of audiences. They can also get the traffic to their sites increased by having their presence available on social networking sites. (Collin, 2011). Ethical Issues Along with the benefits, that business reap through their online presence, they also need to adequately address the ethical issues associated with the online presence of a business. These issues shall not only be incorporated in the business at the time of launch of its online portals, but should also be ensured that these are religiously following during the run of the business. Online Business Many benefits and convenience are introduced by bring a business online as compared to its physical stores. Business will benefit by increasing number of new customers as well as by greater ticket size of each transaction. These will not only help boost companys top line but also increase their profit.
